Andrea Lopez

Please share any educational background, life, or work experiences that relate to your current role and work with VEN:

I have been in the medical field as a phlebotomist for seven years. I started as a phlebotomist because I was always driven to help people and make people feel as comfortable as they can be when getting a blood draw. I have also volunteered at my church to feed and give out supplies to the homeless in Mexico. I would look forward to doing community service and being able to talk and hear their stories.

What inspired you to pursue your current career path?

What inspired me to pursue my current career path is my willingness to openly help and give back to the community in any way possible.

What is your favorite part about working with VEN Centers?

My favorite part about working with VEN Centers is not only the amazing team we have but we are all after one thing and that is to cure hepatitis c! It is a amazing feelings to hear patients relieved to finally get medication to cure a relying issue they have been dealing with. They are not simply patients but also people we get to know over time!
